Senior Tax Consultant

Lead tax advisory engagements for SME and corporate clients. Manage a team of 3-5 junior consultants.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax advisory for 20+ SME and corporate clients.
• Manage and mentor 3-5 junior tax consultants.
• Review income tax returns, GST returns, and tax audit reports.
• Meet with income tax authorities during scrutiny and appeals on behalf of clients.
• Create and apply tax saving strategies.
• Train junior staff on tax law changes.
• Work with audit and compliance teams.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA with 5+ years in tax advisory.
• Strong knowledge of income tax, GST, and TDS.
• Experience managing a team of 3+ people.
• Good communication and client-handling skills.
• Experience with international tax and transfer pricing is a plus.

Nice to Have

• CS qualification.
• Experience with NRI taxation.
• Background in Big 4 or large CA firm.
• Knowledge of updated GST portal and e-invoicing rules.
